Luis Enrique has been appointed as New PSG manager and in his first press conference he hinted at the potential future of the Brazilian forward in his plans. Enrique previously coached the player whilst at FC Barcelona and as such there is a connection between the two, however the Spanish manager will be wanting to see how well Neymar is managing to recover from his ankle injury before he makes any firm decision.
Enrique said to reporters: “I haven’t spoken with Neymar yet. If he should be part of my project? This kind of information I would like to give it to you, but it is part of an internal information.
“I will make decisions after seeing them train, after seeing how they behave … PSG’s squad is of a very high level. There will be a new era. We will install an attacking style that will appeal to the supporters.”
Neymar’s time at PSG has been something of a mixed bag. The 31-year-old joined the club from Barcelona for a record fee in 2017 and has since showcased his massive talent time and time again. Some bookmakers go odds-on at 1/2 that Neymar stays at Paris Saint-Germain this summer, however it seems as though the Brazilian star is poised to move to pastures new. If so, where might he end up?
The immediate future of Neymar seems very much up in the air. Some reports suggest that he is looking for a move back to Barcelona while in some circles it is reported that he may end up in Saudi Arabia. Despite the numerous rumours regarding where he will be plying his trade next term, the stark reality is that the Brazilian doesn’t know himself where he will be at the start of the 2023/24 campaign.
It has been suggested that Manchester United may be in line to welcome the Brazilian to Old Trafford and some leading bookmakers go as low as 11/4 that this scenario comes to fruition. The reality is that the Red Devils could be the only option left for Neymar should he wish to remain in Europe and the alternative would seem to be a move to Saudi Arabia which, as things stand, is the bookies’ favourite at a price as low as 2/1 (best odds 5/1).
A move to any Major League Soccer side is priced at 11/1 while Manchester United are as low as 11/4 and as high as 14/1 to secure Neymar’s signature between now and the end of the summer transfer window.

Following on from Lionel Messi’s move from PSG to MLS side Inter Miami, the latest player being linked with a move away from the French capital is Neymar.
Neymar joined Paris Saint Germain in August 2017 for a record fee of approximately £200 million, however he failed to live up to expectations and while the club’s Qatari owners bought him specifically to help win the Champions League, this particular piece of silverware still eludes the side.
It was expected that the Brazilian starlet would take PSG to a completely different level but the reality is that he has been plagued by numerous injuries with a couple of metatarsal fractures and an ankle injury and subsequent surgery which kept him on the sidelines. That aside, he is undoubtedly an extremely talented player but his move from Barcelona to PSG was seen by many as a defining moment in the wind-down of his playing career.
With his time at PSG looking all but over, the player has been linked with a move to many clubs including Manchester City, Chelsea, Manchester United and several Saudi Pro League sides and it is almost certain that he will indeed be on his way to pastures new this summer.
Neymar is as low as 7/4 for a move to Saudi Arabia in the summer transfer window, however as far as individual clubs are concerned, Manchester United are firm favourites to secure his signature at a price as low as 5/2 (best odds 11/1). The Red Devils are on the verge of being sold to yet another money-bags owner and this hints at a big-name summer signing, the Brazilian winger certainly falling into that category.
Chelsea have sent big since the arrival of Todd Boehly and many believe that Neymar could be tempted to join the West London side this summer. Nevertheless, despite him being as low as 7/1 (best odds 10/1) for a move to Stamford Bridge, the fact that Chelsea aren’t involved in any European competition next season makes it less likely that the club will secure his signature.
Not only that but the Blues have a somewhat bloated squad and really need to focus more on outgoings as opposed to incomings. With four contracted left wingers on the books, the signing of Neymar could be seen as nonsensical.
7/4 – Any Saudi club
10/1 – Chelsea
11/1 – Manchester United
16/1 – Barcelona
25/1 – Manchester City
25/1 – Newcastle United
40/1 – Real Madrid
40/1 – Santos FC
