Manchester City will be going all-out to claim a double when they do battle with arch-rivals Manchester United in the final of the FA Cup on Saturday afternoon.

This weekend we see a repeat of the previous FA Cup final when Manchester City edged past Manchester United to the tune of 2-1, a match which included the fastest goal ever in the final of the competition when Ilkay Gundogan found the back of the net just twelve seconds into the game.

Man City made it into this year’s final thanks to a 1-0 win over Chelsea in the semi-final, while Manchester United got the better of Championship side Coventry on their way to the sharp end of the tournament.

This year’s final will be held at 3pm on Saturday, 25th May 2024.

Man City are unsurprisingly huge favourites to once again secure the coveted trophy (in 90 minutes) with some bookies going as low as 3/10 on Pep Guardiola’s men, while Manchester United are a best price of 8/1 to avenge their defeat of last year. Erling Haaland is just 11/4 to open the scoring on Saturday afternoon while the most likely score is deemed to be a 2-0 win for Manchester City at a best price of 15/2.
