England v North Macedonia Betting Odds

England stormed to a relatively straightforward victory in Malta in their last outing, however the Three Lions will almost certainly be presented with a much tougher test this evening when they lock horns with North Macedonia. Will it be another three points for Gareth Southgate’s men or will there be a shock in store?

England do battle with North Macedonia at Old Trafford tonight and while it’s hard to find any value on the Three Lions to claim the spoils in this clash, there’s still a wealth of options on the betting markets.

England banged in four goals without reply against Malta last time out and manager Gareth Southgate will be aiming to continue the momentum at Old Trafford tonight. All-but-one of England’s last twelve Euro qualifying games have ended with at least three goals being scored and tonight they are up against a North Macedonia outfit which have been very leaky at the back of late. The visitors have shipped goals against Malta, Finland and Azerbaijan, while they squandered a 2-0 lead over Ukraine to subsequently lose 3-2. As such we don’t envisage them keeping a clean sheet when they travel to the ‘Theatre of Dreams’ tonight.

Nevertheless, the North Macedonians have found the back of the net in all-but-one of their last five games, therefore there’s every reason to believe that they will add to the scoreline this evening. Both sides look decent going forward and while England should claim victory here, it would come as no huge shock were the Three Lions fail to keep a clean sheet.

All-in-all, we envisage a high-scoring encounter coming our way in this one and in our opinion, the value lies in backing goals here.
